Here are a few "dos and don'ts"” that may help you avoid nasty surprises and at the same time make your stay even more pleasant.

If you take a taxi for long journeys, always ask first for a rough estimate and make sure that the driver turns the meter on.

Rate 1 applies to journeys inside the GRA and rate 2 to those outside.
The rate changes when you go outside the GRA.

You can hire a motorbike or scooter at:

OR
at Scooter for Rent
Via della Purificazione,84 (Via Veneto)
Rome - Italy
E.Mail: scooterrent@hotmail.com
Tel. +39 06 4885485

Remember to keep the scooter lights turned on at all times.

You can always park your car near a Metro station and continue your journey using public transport.

If you are driving, keep your lights on at all times while on the GRA, the autostrada and outside city limits.

For those of you that don't know Rome and wish to visit places of interest yet avoid chaotic traffic, we recommend you use the Metro and the public tran sport.
